A brave and distant journey of immigrants. How did Kytherians and Antikytherians set off in the second half of the 19th century to immigrate to Latin America? And from there, how did they manage to spread to Argentina and Chile? These people and their journey is the main theme of an event which will be held in Kythera at the courtyard of Mitata School on the 19th of July on Monday, at 20:30 pm.
The topic will be presented by Ms. Maria Damilakou, Lecturer at Ionian University, Department of History, whilst she will be presented by the Professor of Panteios University, Ms. Koula Kassimatis. The event is organized by Myrtia Association and VisitKythera.
