Greek defense didn’t let Argentina score for more than 60 minutes. Martin Demichelis broke the Greece’s defense line and scored in the 77th minute. Martin Palermo followed scoring the second goal for Argentina in the 89th minute.
Greece had its best chance with Georgios Samaras in the 48th minute, when the Greek player approached Argentina’s goal post but sent the ball far from it.
The other game of Group B Nigeria vs, South Korea ended with a tie 2-2. Argentina wins group B and South Korea advances.
