Poll results, citizens' frustration!

According to the results by a poll carried out on behalf of the newspaper Kathimerini, seven in ten Greek citizens underline that they are not satisfied with their lives and do not approve any of the country’s political parties. The survey was conducted by polling firm Public Issue on a sample of 1,006 citizens on the first week of July and the results are the following: 65% of the citizens insisted that they  trust neither the socialist party of PASOK, nor the opposition conservative party of ND to rule Greece. On the other hand, 25 % think that PASOK is the best party to rule the country, while only 4 % support the ND party!
Despite the fact that the socialist party is still ahead in polls, eight out of ten respondents are let down by PASOK administration and the strict austerity measures. 9 out of ten are unhappy with the ND party, while another 17 % suggests a government representing all the parties in Parliament.
As far as the popularity of the leaders is concerned, George Papandreou ( Prime Minister) saw  a decline in support to 40%, while Antonis Samaras has dropped to 19%. Once more, the frustration of the citizens is seen clearly as a third of respondents said they trust neither of the two to lead the government and rule the country!
The most shocking finding however is that the 35.5% of Greek citizens explain that if elections were held today, they would either boycott the vote or cast a blank ballot! However, the Government explains that early elections are not in their agenda..
