There are plans by the Air Traffic Controller’s Union to start 24-hour rolling strikes Sunday which are illegal.
Union officials say they will not defy Friday’s decision by the Athens court, but will likely continue a work-to-rule protest following contractual obligations to the letter launched this week to press demands for additional staff and new equipment.
The government is locked in a dispute with labor unions over austerity measures aimed at easing the country’s debt crisis.
Transport Minister Dimitris Reppas urged air traffic controllers not to take further action that would hurt the country’s tourism industry.
