Yesterday night a fire broke out in the nothern part of Corfu island in the municipality of Thinalians. The fire department immediatley mobilized and the blazes were fortunately controlled.
22 firemen having 11 fully equiped vehicles and 2 aircrafts, are trying to do their best to extinguish the fire. The firemen continued to work hard during the night in order to keep the fire in that area and to prevent it from approaching the villages.
