At 12:50 p.m a helicopter crashed in the region Kastellakia, 2.5 kilometers outside the city of Rethumnon, Crete. The privately owned helicopter had been chartered by the Public Power Corporation (PPC) to clean high-voltage cable pylons. The two member crew was successfully taken outĀ of the destroyed helicopter and transferred to the hospital with injuries. Currently a team of experts is further investigating.
