Fires in Thesprwtia and Fthiotida prefectures

Two fires broke out in Fthiotida prefecture, in central Greece. The first one broke out in Trilofo village at noon, but thanks to the immediate alert of the fire department, it was soon restrained. 36 firemen and 16 fully-equipped vehicles battle the blaze. The second one broke out in 16:20 p.m in the region of Palaiovraxa on a hill. 10 firemen and 4 vehicles attempt to set the fire under control. In order to help the efforts made by the Fire Department, 5 aircrafts and a helicopter are doing their best to extinguish the blaze before it is too late.
At 12:25, a fire broke out in the municipality of Filiates in Thesprwtia prefecture, in northwest Ipirus. The blaze is burning forest land. 11 firemen, 4 vehicles and a helicopter from the city of Ioannina, are making efforts to extinguish the devastating fire before the night falls. This blaze is considered really dangerous as  it is approaching a minefield!
