Currently 32 Greeks have contracted the West Nile virus, as The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO) confirmed yesterday. Three victims passed away last week. All incidents were contracted by mosquitoes bights carrying the virus and resulting in brain inflammation.
One child is infected with the West Nile virus; this is the first case of a child contracting it and usually affects elders.
