Greek Super League Season is About to Kick Off!

GREEKSOCCER.COM
The Greek Super League will kick off the 2010-2011 season in a rather unique fashion when Panathinaikos FC will host Skoda Xanthi FC at the OAKA Spyros Louis Stadium on Friday, August 27th.
Greece double holders were forced to bump up their clash with the Thracian side due to concert commitments the stadium had arranged prior to the Super League draw. Contenders Olympiacos FC will open up their campaign the following night in Thessaloniki against Iraklis FC, rounding out a day’s worth of action that includes clashes between Larissa FC and Atromitis FC as well as Panionios GSS and Olympiakos Volou FC.
Sunday’s agenda includes four fixtures, with the highlight fixture taking place in Kavala between FC Kavala and Aris Thessaloniki FC. At the same time AEK Athens FC will visit newly-promoted Kerkyra FC at the Pampeloponnisiako Stadium in Kerkyra.
The day’s early action sees Ergotelis FC host Asteras Tripolis FC in Heraklion, while Toumba plays host to PAOK FC versus Panserraikos FC.
