APOEL – Getafe soccer game ended in a 1-1 score. APOEL was better during the game but sometimes the best team doesn’t always win. Until the 96th minute APOEL was winning 1-0 but in the 97 minute Getafe scored a goal and the game got an extra half. The Cypriot team did not manage to score a goal during that period and the game ended. APOEL Nicosia had returned home for their second leg Europa League play-off qualifier against Getafe. The Cypriot team had to beat their opponents by at least two goals to reach the group stages of the competition.
