Igoumenitsa Port Heroin Bust

According to Igoumenitsa port officials, 120 kilos of heroin was confiscated yesterday in an Italy bound truck holding Croatian plates. The drugs were found in packets weighting 450-500 grams each. The Serbian driver was arrested and will be held before local prosecutors. As officials noted, the narcotics were routed for countries in Eastern Europe. Interpol and Italian authorities are aware of the incident and are further investigating.
