The Portuguese flagged cruise ship “Grand Celebrity” had docked at the Xaveriou terminal at the port of Piraeus. This is the first time that such a vessel sails arrives at Xaveriou terminal, something that coincides with World Tourism Day. The Portuguese cruise ship arrived early today morning with 1,600 passengers and crew on board.
The Greek Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister Giorgos Nikitiadis was at the port to welcome the vessel. Nikitiadis underlined that the tourist arrival number in Greece has slightly increased, despite the nation’s current plagued environment.
