Free Gaza Movement Announces Ship Arrival with Humanitarian Aid

The second Flotilla for Gaza which will include eight to ten ships with humanitarian aid, will anchor by the end of the year. This was announced in a press conference in Athens by members of the Free Gaza Movement.
The participants have asked many countries including Italy, that have citizens participating in the initiative to put pressure on Israel not to ”break the law” and not to turn the mission into a bloody tragedy, as happened in May. The first Gaza Flotilla which set sail from Piraeus was attacked by Israel. Nine pro-Palestinian activists were killed in the armed operation. Israel has declared the waters around Gaza to be ”exclusion zones”, fearing that military supplies from terrorist organisations may reach the area.
