A few minutes after 15:00 p.m a fire broke out in the region of Monolithos on the island of Rhodes. Immediately twenty firemen with ten fully equipped vehicles, five aircrafts and one helicopter arrived on the scene. The team gave their best in a coordinated effort to extinguish the fire and to prevent its spread. Reportedly at the moment the wildfire does not threaten any inhabited areas, despite its size.
