Eurovision Singer George Alkaios Abandons Music & Moves to Milos

The 2010 Greek Eurovision entrant and so called “good boy” of Greek music George Alkaios, took a very important life altering decision. Disappointed by the conditions and his partners, he decided to drop music and move to Milos island from Athens.
“I saw life very differently and I cannot stand the financial crisis, the business problems and the fact that less people going out to live music scenes. Since I cannot change the status I decided to change my life” said Alkaios.
The record label made with his partner Dionisis Schoinas (NF, 1998) is no longer existing. “We wanted to make a label for young artists but financially this was impossible” said the artist. Besides withdrawing, Alkaios is planning some live appearances in the US in the upcoming months.
