The Greek daily newspaper To Vima will be published for the last time today. It announced to its employees that because of the economic crisis the newspaper will cease publication.
Readers will be able to learn the reasons behind the shutdown as an article where the publishers explain themselves and the whole economic situation in Greece will be included.
An editorial said online visitors had far outnumbered newsstand buyers. On Thursday the newspaper sold 8,000 print issues while it received 82,000 online visitors.
