Athens Mayor Yiorgos Kaminis today appealed for the greatest possible collaboration between municipal tickets, municipal authorities, city councillors and resourceful citizens. This effort is for Athens to overcome a formidable crisis, during his speech at a swearing-in ceremony for newly-elected city of Athens officials at its City Hall .
The new Mayor placed particular emphasis on the mobilization of Athens officials and staff. He pledged that the principles of transparency, meritocracy and accountability would mark the decisions and choices of the new municipal authority from this point on.
