Greek and Turkish Prime Ministers met for a closed-door session that lasted four hours. The meeting begun at 10 a.m. and around a quarter to 12, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs Mr. Droutsas and Mr. Davutoglu joined the Prime Ministers.

Greek PM George Papandreou complained Friday about what he said were violations by Turkish jets of Greek air space earlier this week. Turkey maintained it is not carrying out air space violations and accused Greece of hindering access to international waters and air space in the Aegean.
At a news conference in Turkey with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Papandreou said: “What is Turkey trying to prove?” Greece and Turkey are NATO allies that have improved ties over the past decade. But they remain at odds over war-divided Cyprus and sea and air boundaries in the Aegean.
