Greek director Nikos Koundouros decided to donate recently his body of work to the next generations. All 500 titles of his work were donated to the Municipal Library of Saint Nikolaos region in Crete, where he originates. As far as his valuable collection of the Byzantine and after Byzantine pictures is concerned, it is already in the Poushkin museum in Moscow and is going to be exhibited in five or six other museums. ” I am currently copying my movies using the latest technology, so as to save them for the future. Their final destination is the Greek Film Archive.” declared the famous director.
