Greek broadcaster ERT has selected six artists for the Greek national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf. All of them took part in talent shows such as X-Factor and Idols: Kokkina Halia, Valanto Tryfonos, Nikki Ponte, Antigoni Psychrami, Loukas Yiorka and Triimitonio.
The six artists selected by Greek broadcaster ERT for the national final in Greece are Kokkina Halia (X-Factor 2008), Valanto Tryfonos (Winner Greek Idol 2010), Nikki Ponte (X-Factor 2010), Antigoni Psychrami (Greek Idol 2010), Loukas Yiorka (Winner X-Factor 2008) and Triimitonio (X-Factor 2008).
The Greek national final will be held in February. The exact date is not known yet. A professional jury and the televoting audience will determine for 50% each who’ll represent Greece in the semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf.
