An American protester lodged a complaint against the DELTA police force for a homicide attempt and for abuse of administrative authority. The protester reported that she had been beaten by a policeman during a protest march against the measures imposed by the IMF on November 15th. The young woman was found wounded on Patision Street in the center of Athens, and was transferred to a local hospital. The Greek daily “Ta Nea” wrote that one-hundred-and-fifty teachers, journalists, lawyers and students from Europe and from the U.S.A filed an international complaint. They are demanding that authorities reveal the identity of the DELTA policeman who is responsible for this horrific act.
