Greeks of Egypt Return Safely to Athens

Three military aircrafts, carrying one-hundred-and-eighty-four Greeks and Cypriots living in Egypt, landed this morning at Athens Eleftherios Venizelos airport. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dimitris Dollis and the spokesman of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Grigoris Delavekouras accompanied the passengers. The first C-130 arrived at the Alexandria airport at 11:30 in the morning and two more aircrafts landed later on. The first plane to Athens took off at 14:00 and the third plane left at 14:55.
