The operas “Cavalleria Rusticana”, “I Pagliacci” and “Nabucco”, and two ballet performances will be performed this summer at the Herodion Theater. This follows a decision of the Central Archaeological Council. The members of the Central Archaeological Council approved unanimously the request of the National Opera for the program of the summer period 2011. More particularly, from the end of May until June 10th, 2011, there will be two performances of the operas “Cavalleria Rusticana” and “I Pagliacci”. At the end of June, two ballet performances will take place. From July 19th tο 30th, the Herodion Theater will host four performances of the opera “Nabucco”.
