In an attempt to boost cruising in Greece, the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Islands Mr. John Diamantidis is visiting this Saturday, the 12th of March Miami, Florida, so as to take part in the 8th Exhibition of Tourism and Cruising. This trip will also join, apart from Mr. Diamantidis, the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mr. P. Geroulanos, the Undersecretary of Tourism Mr. G. Nikitiadis and the administrators of the Greek ports. The Greek mission is planning to talk and negotiate with the heads of big companies in the sector of cruising, so as the Greek ports to constitute a base for departure and arrival of many cruise ships. According to the information given, they have already arranged meetings with the representatives of Carnival Cruise Lines, Costa Lines and the Royal Caribbean, during which all the data will be examined after the arsis of the sabotage and the new contract for cruising.
