Aegean bought four slots from Olympic Air at Heathrow and Charles de Gaulle airports. According to Aegean’s announcement, the deal was based on the European regulation 95/93. The slots can be used by Aegean itself, but the company can also rent or sell them to another air company. Today, Aegean realizes two direct flights from Athens to London and from Athens to Paris, while extra flights are realized in cooperation with Lufhansa through Germany. The price of the deal hasn’t been announced.
