The hot blond beauty who was dancing in Greek movies with her dance partner Takis Sayior has passed. Louisa Melinda (Bourdoumi as was her real name) died last Saturday night in the hospital Errikos Ntynan . She finally lost the fight with cancer. By her side, was her husband Nikos Atherinos, theatrical writer, and her first husband and dance partner Takis Sayior, with whom they were still good friends although they divorced. Melinda and Takis were one of the most famous dance couples in Greece. They were called “Fred Aster and Ginger Rogers of Greece”. During the last decade, Louisa had stopped dancing and had turned to prose, while she also signed the choreographies of the plays she took part in. Her last appearances were in “Psuchremia…giati chanomaste”(“Stay cool…or else”)(2010), “Itan kapio variete”(“There was some varietè”)(2010) and the “Pame san allote” (“Let’s go like we did”)(2009)
