Health Minister Andreas Loverdos caught everyone by surprise during a news conference for accredited authors of the Health Ministry.
Loverdos stated: “I don’t have a place in nebulous and contradictory policies. I put myself at the discretion of the Prime Minister”.
Loverdos argued that the government’s mid-term economic programme should be put on a Parliamentary vote with an increased majority of 180 MPs (out of a total of 300), while the amended Memorandum should be adopted by the Cabinet and not by Finance Minister Yiorgos Papakonstantinou alone.
