U.K. Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne said European Union finance ministers’ plan for Greece might involve additional funding from the Eurozone.
“It’s inevitable that we’re going to look at the Greek package and see what they can do to get through next year,” Osborne said in an interview with BBC TV’s Andrew Marr Show. “That might involve additional assistance from, for example, the Eurozone.”
Osborne said he had not heard suggestions that Greece might leave the Euro “in private or in public, I promise you.'”
