Greece’s prime minister George Papandreou says he will reshuffle his Cabinet on Thursday and seek a vote of confidence for his new government in Parliament, after coalition talks with opposition parties failed.
“I will continue on the same course. This is the road of duty, together with PASOK’s parliamentary group, its
members, and the Greek people,” Papandreou said.
Papandreou made the statement during a very brief nationally televised address.
