The government and the Athens Urban Transport Organization(OASA) announced on Monday July 11th, that free Wireless Internet access will be available at all metro stations.
This program will be set up within the next three months. Citizens will have the opportunity to use the Internet in all metro stations, at bus stops, at squares and the Hellenic Railways Organization. Thus, it will be easier and quicker for people to be informed and can be protected in case of emergency.
This plan will improve the image of the stations and offer a more European aspect of modernization.
