The beautiful Dutch women and “macho” men wandering around the bars and night clubs of the Hersonissos peninsula are the cast of a new reality show titled “Oh Oh Cherso”, shot for the second year on Crete. The series has already had great success in Holland. The first year of the show screened on channel RTL5, left the best impressions on organizers, participants and viewers, that’s why the production has once again returned to the peninsula this summer.
The great success of the reality show in the Netherlands is a a good way to promote tourism in the peninsula, even though emphasis is given on nightlife and entertainment, thus highlighting only one side of the area. The odd thing is that if one does a search for the “Oh Oh Cherso single” soundtrack, they will hear a trance cover of the well-known ”Zorba” song.
