A delegation of Chinese and Norwegians had a meeting with members of an integrated olive production company yesterday in Chania, Crete. They expressed their interest in Cretan olive oil.
The meeting was held on Voukolies of the Municipality of Platania, and as it became known the company seems interested in bying large quantities of oil, at satisfactory sales price. ”The delegation is coming for the second time in Chania, and obviously the interest is now quite serious on the purchase of large quantities of olive oil from Chania”, stated Nick Maragoudakis, agronomist of the team of Integrated Olive Production Management in the prefecture of Chania.
To be noted that Representatives of local government from the Municipalities of Chania, Platania and Apokoronos will also participate in the negotiations.
