Everything indicates that Vassilis Spanoulis is going to miss Eurobasket in Lithuania. He has to be operated on therefore Euroleague is no more possible for him.

Dr. Konstantinidis told him that an operation is the only solution to his problem. He is not going to be fit for the Eurobasket game, if he goes on operation therefore he has not made up his mind yet.
As far as national Greek team is concerned, another significant basketball player is probably going to be absent at the games. Diamantidis, Papaloukas, Perperoglou, Calathes, Tsartsaris are absent as well.
