One hundred & fifty Epirus expatriates from Europe, Africa and Asia, as well as from America and Australia, will participate in the 2nd Congress of the World Council of Epirotes Abroad (WCEA), on July 29 and 31 in Ioannina.
The purpose of the 2nd World Congress is to strengthen the emotional ties even more and examine new ways to promote the continuous development of Epirus, amid unfavorable times. The 2nd Congress of the World Council of Epirus will be honored by the presence of Vice President of Greek Parliament, Gregory Niotis, local rulers of Epirus and others.
“Through the clustering of knowledge and entrepreneurship, as well as our experience from abroad, the expatriates can find assistance in promoting Epirus abroad,” concludes the statement. The congress will conclude with a meeting of the WCEA’s New Board of Directors.
