The Cypriot Channel RIK asked the 17 year old singer Ivi Adamou to represent Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
The contest will take place at the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku on May 22, 24 and 26 of 2012. Cypriots will have the chance to vote for one of the three songs the singer will perform at the finals.
The singer became known last year after participating in the Greek Talent Show X-Factor.
