Organisation of the “24th Aegean Athletics” was approved to be held in Mytilene on the 1st and 2nd of October 2011, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports, the General Secretariat of Sports, the Athletic Federation and the Municipality of Mytilene.
In the decision signed by the Deputy Minister for Regional Development and Competitiveness, Harris Pampoukis, an Honoured Committee and an Organising Committee will soon be formed, and a total amount for the organisation of the special event, estimated at 100,000 euros, has already been authorised.
