Generators from Greece Installed in Cyprus

According to an announcement by the Electricity Authority of Cyprus, 50 MB generators from Greece are being installed in Cyprus. All the preparatory procedures for the installment of the generators, rented by the American company “International Energy” for the two electricity factories of Dekeleia and Moni, have been completed, and the generators will arrive in a few days in Cyprus.  Their operation will commence at the beginning of September. However, they still face major problems since the station of Vasilikos that was destroyed after the explosion at the naval base has only 750MB productivity.  Friday was the only working day that a power cut did not occur anywhere on the island.
