Estimations Indicate Increase in Exports

The Trade Union of North Greece has shown an optimistic point of view in terms of trade for the coming semester, estimating that exports will increase by 39.7% in comparison with 2010.

If the estimations prove true, exports of the nation will be generally increased by 10%.

Import for the first semester of 2011 is anticipated to retreat up to 11.9% compared to 2010. The commercial deficit will be reduced by 33.1%.

It is a good sign for the fiscal deficit that exports are expected to be increased and imports to be reduced.
