As it seems, the anti smoking measures are not applied in reality. The number of denunciations by people who call each day the telephone service 1142 are more than 60.
In fact, many violations concern public sector for example hospitals. Even in the Greek Parliament the deputies smoke inside the building.
According to the newspaper “Eleftheros Typos”, 27.027 out of 30.696 violations concern buildings of health services and 2.119 buildings of public sector services.
Apparently, the state does not have sufficient control mechanisms.
