Retail Trade Fell By 8.2% In June

The Greek Statistical Authority said that, according to provisional results, the turnover index in retail trade at current prices, excluding automotive fuel, recorded a fall of 8.2% in June 2011 compared with June 2010.
The Index in June 2010 recorded a decrease of 2.8% compared with June 2009.
The turnover index in retail trade, including automotive fuel, recorded a fall of 8.3% in June 2011 compared with June 2010. The Index in June 2010 recorded an increase of 1.1% compared with June 2009.
The volume of retail trade (i.e. turnover in retail trade at constant prices), excluding automotive fuel, decreased by 9.9% in June 2011, compared with June 2010.
The Index in June 2010 recorded a decrease of 5.0% compared with June 2009.
The retail trade volume index, including automotive fuel, decreased by 11.4% in June 2011 compared with June 2010. The Index in June 2010 recorded a decrease of 4.5% compared with June 2009.
