Sheikh of Qatar Returns to Corfu; Interested in Buying Greek Islands

After severely interfering with the recession-hit economy of Greece, the bold and  almighty leader of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, along with his PM and  Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, are once again visiting Greece; this time only as tourists sailing the Ionian Sea.
The two powerful men of the Emirate arrived  yesterday at 3 a.m. at the Ioannis  Kapodistrias Airport of Corfu in their royal Learjet and soon afterwards boarded on a luxurious yacht and started off their cruise.
Followed by his closest colleagues, family, escort and personal guard, the Sheikh’s arrival was attended and organized by the local authorities, who secured the airport from early in the afternoon and provided him extra escorts with luxurious and armored cars and motorcycles. Furthermore, expensive limousines and two pickup trucks were employed in order to carry the royal family and its belongings respectively.
According to sources, Al Thani, who has been repeatedly choosing Greek islands to vacation over the past years, is expressing higher interest in acquiring two islands of the Ionian Sea-one of them is Scorpios Island which formerly belonged to the Onasis family, while the other one is lying 3 miles south from it.
