The Consumer Price Index in September 2011 compared with September 2010, increased by 3.1%, said the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT). In September 2010, the annual rate of change of the CPI was 5.6%.
In a report, ELSTAT said that the CPI in September 2011 compared with August 2011 increased by 3.3%. In September 2010, the monthly rate of change of the CPI was 1.9%.
