Lazy Greeks? Think Again!

At a time where the world is suffering an economic crisis and government officials all over the world are blaming the public for the crisis instead of themselves, new surveys show which country works the hardest and Germany isn’t one of them.
The winner of this survey, surprisingly, is Greece. The Office for National Statistics shows that Greek workers work the longest amount of hours in Europe, reaching the breaking point of 42.2 hours per week. Greece topping the charts of youth unemployment at 43.5%, Greeks these days should feel lucky that they still have a job. But the competition of who is more productive, Germany, the Netherlands and France take it home.
In the U.K. workers work at an average of 36.3 hours per week which is about an hour less than the European average. German workers on the other hand work about 35.6 hours per week. Now, who is more organized and efficient during work hours that’s for another survey for some other time.
