A 22-year-old Albanian was arrested on Tuesday for impersonating a police officer, while the police are still searching for his Albanian accomplice.
According to the police, the two men set up a police siren in their car, pretending to be police officers in plain clothes, and searched two cars on Karea Boulevard in the region of Vyronas, Athens.
Police officers from the local department tracked down and stopped the vehicle with the two Albanian passengers, managing to arrest one of them.
The arrested man were brought to the General Attorney of Athens, while investigations are still pending regarding his involvement in similar past cases.
