The Institute of International Finance said Tuesday that progress has been made in recent days on a voluntary exchange of Greek debt, CNBC’s Michelle Caruso-Cabrera reported.
The IIF also said it is essential that an agreement be reached in “the days ahead,” according to the report.
There is optimism that an agreement will be made this month, Caruso-Cabrera said, citing sources.
