58-Year-Old Murdered By Son and Wife In Neokastron Imathias

More details have emerged regarding the murder of a 58-year-old man, according to statements made by the local police authorities in Neokastro, Imathia.
According to the police announcement Thursday, the victim was murdered in October 2011 by his 51-year-old wife, his 25-year-old son and a 31-year-old friend of the son.
All three suspects confessed to murdering the 58-year-old over financial and family issues.
The investigation showed that the victim’s wife was the one who planned the murder, while her two younger accomplices were following her instructions. The wife set her husband up in a remote farming area of the city, where her son mortally wounded the father with a gun.  He then got rid of the weapon.
The three suspects are accused of intentional homicide and complicity, and will be brought before a Veria prosecutor in the following days.
