Headed goals from Jean Makoun and Diogo helped defending champion Olympiakos beat Panionios 2-0 in the Greek league on Sunday.
The home win ensured Olympiakos remains two points behind leader Panathinaikos with eight rounds remaining.
The AEK vs. OFI match was postponed for the second time. It was to have taken place Saturday, behind closed doors, because debt-ridden AEK owes back taxes and could not legally issue tickets. General Secretary for Sports Panos Bitsaxis postponed that game indefinitely, acting on police intelligence that AEK’s hard-core fans, many of whom are violent anarchists, would show up and make trouble.
The league, which is at loggerheads with the government over a new sports law introducing heavier penalties for crowd trouble, had rescheduled the match for Sunday afternoon but Bitsaxis intervened again on Saturday to postpone it indefinitely.
