The Municipality of Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, has decided to offer free meals to the needy every Sunday.
Α contract will be signed between the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki concerning the implementation of this social initiative.
The free, well-balanced meals are going to be offered throughout the whole year to 300 people who have been deemed ‘in need’, at the building of the Eating Club of the Aristotle University.
This initiative of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, which has been offering meals for many years to needy people, contributes to the strengthening of humanitarian aid and constitutes a major step forward in humanitarian assistance in general.
