ERA5's World Solidarity Radio Marathon for the Creation of Two Drugstores for Greek Poor

During a tough period for the crisis-hit Greek people, the ERA5, known to the Greeks of the diaspora as “Voice of Greece”, is organizing a radio marathon in collaboration with the Holy Archdiocese of Athens.
Voice of Greece aims at uniting Greeks across the five continents by planning a World Radio Marathon in order to collect money for the creation of two “social” drugstores in Athens.
A big solidarity movement is the actual plan, taking the example from great national benefactors, as Director of Radio Shows Ioanna Triantafilli explains.
“Greeks are meant to be united”, adds I. Triantafilli and he stresses the importance of a common fight for the protection of Greece and its people. “We can do this together” she concludes.
The two drugstores planned to be constructed in Syntagma Square and St. Panteleimon area, will be trying to cover the necessities of our fellow citizens in need, such as jobless people.
Greeks all over the world are invited to participate in that movement of ERA5 on this coming Monday, April 2, 09:00-22:00. His Beatitude Hieronymos II, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece will address a calling message to the audience.
At 22.00 o’ clock there will be a concert of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation Modern Music Orchestra in Studio C of ERA. Voice of Greece journalists Helena Karagianni and Natasha Vissarionos will be hosting the concert. Archbishop Ieronimos will honor the free-admission concert with his presence.
Donations can be made to the National Bank of Greece. Account number for Greece: 14654403519, for every other country:  ΙΒΑΝ: GR 2101101460000014654403519, with recipient “Social Drugstore”.
