Apostolos Gletsos Offers Free Olives and Oil from Stylida to Citizens of Drapetsona

Apostolos Gletsos, the famous actor, political activist and Mayor of Stylida, arrived with olives and oil from Fthiotida in Drapetsona on Monday morning (April 2) to distribute the excellent quality products to the public.
The Mayor and farmers from Stylida offered exquisite olives and bottles of extra virgin oil to the citizens of the Municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona for free.
Stylida’s Mayor is said to have chosen the particular municipality because of his warm friendship with Lukas Tzanis, Mayor of Keratsini-Drapetsona.
Gletsos explained that this action aims at the promotion of Stylida’s farming products and at the support of families in need that are in the brink of collapse. The active Mayor didn’t just attend the event; he himself distributed the products along with the other farmers.
More than 300 people who “qualified” for free olives and oil were found at the area where the products were being offered. Gletsos stressed that “this is not the last time you’ll be seeing me taking such action, there will surely be many more”.
People responded very well to Stylida’s calling for support. Men and women were hugging and kissing Gletsos and kept thanking him for his initiative. 3 tons of oil and 1,5 tons of olives were offered.
